Momokawa Sake is sponsoring legendary Japanese band Shonen Knife’s “Everybody Happy US Tour” (their first North American dates since 2019!). In addition, Good Charamel will be releasing an expanded edition of Our Best Place on September 19, 2025.

About their upcoming tour of the U.S., Naoko says, “We’re so excited to bring our music to fans across North America and celebrate together with delicious sake. Shonen Knife is about fun, friendship, and happiness, and we can’t wait to share that with everyone.”

Shonen Knife at Fine Line (Oct 2, 2019)
As previously mentioned, the band was last in town in October 2019, and when we saw them, we said, “Shonen Knife closed out the show. This was the tail end of their month-long 2019 USA tour (with one remaining date left at Cattivo in Pittsburgh)… so naturally the group’s famous merchandise was reduced to whatever they had left. Band leader Naoko had to apologize for only having their T-Shirts in Small and 2XL. In order to try and drum up sales, she would joke that young girls in Japan would buy XXL shirts as it was the fashion.”
