Baltimore Comic Con 2025- Cosplay Costume Contest (Photo Gallery)

The Baltimore Comic-Con is a comic book-centric fan convention held in the fall of every year since 2000. The show is a creators’ favorite and features marquee writers and artists both past and present, a handful of media guests, publishers, and hundreds of vendor booths offering genre-related items including new and back-issue comic books, pop culture collectibles, toys, original art, and so much more.

One of the visual highlights of a weekend-long comic convention is always the Cosplay Costume Contest, and Baltimore was no exception. Contestants put their heart and soul into creating costumes of their favorite comic, anime, and video game characters.

Judges are usually experienced cosplayers with categories of expertise being Beginner/Novice, Advanced, and Master levels of craftsmanship. A separate Kids and Youth Contest happened the following day as well. The contest was well attended and fun (though we miss the drag queen hosts in KC) and prize money to the top winners was $1000.
