Father John Misty returns to Minnesota, playing the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on July 8, 2026.
The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household, or to game the system in any way, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.
We just saw the singer in July 2025 and wrote, “Clad in black suit, Misty and band (vocals/guitar, saxophone, keys, drums, bass) came out with a darkly funky sound, even edging into some electronic sound. After ditching his guitar, Misty prowled and sauntered across the front of the stage. He’s got a real presence and the sultry funk mood was creating a real vibe. Getting a guitar again, Misty was on with a rocker, and a whistling solo to end the song. A funky keys intro to the next song made it clear that this was going to be the lowest key set of the day. It was a zag to the other performers’ zig in terms of pace and energy, and Misty stood out as doing something different. The saxophone solo on a mid-set song was jazzy and continued the more mellow feel. This was stripped down from all of the vocal effects that Misty will use, and it was nice to hear him simply sing. A latter song felt like it would play perfectly as part of a lounge act, and that’s a compliment. Just as he lulled the crowd into that vibe, he and the popped into the higher energy She Cleans Up and Misty was in full strut mode. While some of the audience may have been puzzled, I really liked what Father John Misty did with his set.”
King Tuff to open.

We saw She’s Green in Jacksonville in June 2025 and noted, “For this tour, the band played quite a few new songs, starting with their new single “Graze”, which kicked off their set. They kept their biggest hit, “smile again” on the set, playing it close to the end. The crowd seemed to really dig “bleed”, which could have been a great song to end their set. she’s green said that this was their first time playing Jacksonville. They have left a good impression, as I noticed a few people rushing to buy their vinyl after they played their set. I talked to the guy next to me, Robert, before she’s green came on stage and he said he’s never heard of the band. I may have hyped them up a little, as Robert was one of the first people in line to buy the she’s green record. It was great to see local (Minneapolis) bands doing good.”
