After a week of dreaded cold, and even some rare snowfall in Florida about two weeks ago (although I did not witness this in my area), the weather here has been in the high 70s to 80’s in the past week! It’s glorious. Since the temperature have gone way up, we decided to take a day trip to St Augustine, a nearby city.
So… here is my ranking of top Phở restaurants in Jacksonville.
Now that everything is settled down in Jacksonville, I will be looking to explore the city in 2025. I am only here until March, however, eventually, the plan is to make a final move to Jax sometime in late 2025, if we can sell the house in Minneapolis.
The most exciting thing is that there is a new music venue in Jacksonville called FIVE, their website said they are open for business in January 2025… but looking at their calendar, it looks like the first show is on February 22. I will be back home in Minneapolis in March, so I’ll see if I can sneak in a show before returning home.
Well, it’s Christmas Day already! As you know, I’m currently living in a house in Jacksonville, Florida, for a few months. This is the first time that I’m not experiencing snow or freezing temperature in over 20 years. It’s so very nice to walk outside and see the sun in December!
Minneapolis and Jacksonville: This Week (12/22/2024) - Annie Mack, The Jayhawks, Ben Folds
I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the city. I did do a little research and shocked to discover the city has about 1 million people living there… that’s twice as large as Minneapolis! In fact, it’s the most populous city in Florida, and the largest in the South outside the state of Texas.
