Atlanta-based indie punks Deerhunter are back on tour in promotion of their fifth studio album. Recorded entirely on an 8 track, Bradford Cox (frontman) known for putting on theatrical performances donning sundresses and fake blood describes
the new album, Monomania, as “nocturnal garage†music.

The Deer Widow record release show just happened last Friday in Flint, Michigan, but don't let that stop you from picking up their debut 10", which will be available to the general public next week, August 10th on Save Your Generation.
The key thing about Deer Widow is that the band feature members, singer/guitarist Chris Thibodeau, drummer Jeff Buffmyer, and bassist Nick Mayberry, from various bands (Kid Brother Collective, Empty Orchestra, Dead by Sunday, Silence the Wake, The Conqueror Worm, Downers of the World Unite, and The Most Dangerous Animal), so you know they've been around the block.
Five-track listing was mixed and mastered by Marc Hudson.
