Delhi 2 Dublin

Delhi 2 Dublin played the Cedar Cultural Center yesterday, May 1st. This tour is for their US release of Planet Electric, and what’s strange is that there was no opening band. The last time I went to see a band ….

DELHI 2 DUBLIN

at Cedar Cultural Center

Thursday 10/16/14, 7pm

$15 / $18 (door): thecedar.org

Canadian Delhi 2 Dublin will once again stop by Minneapolis’ Cedar Cultural Center this Thursday, October 16th. Like their previous appearance, it seems like the band does not have an opener.

Just to give you a background on the band, their music cannot really be classify under any one sound. You can call it a fusion of electronica, bhangra beats and Celtic fiddle – hence their name Delhi (India) to Dublin (Ireland). Needless to say, it’s an interesting mix of music genre, if you ever get a chance to see them live for yourself.

They recorded LIVE, a live album, on July 2014 in their hometown in Vancouver to celebrate their 8th year as a band.

Tour dates:

10/14/14 Abbey Pub in Chicago, IL

10/15/14 Shank Hall in Milwaukee, WI

10/16/14 Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis, MN

10/17/14 Black Mountain in Black Mountain, NC

10/23/14 UBC Thunderbird in Vancouver, BC
11/01/14 Ubud, Bali

11/07/14 Murfest in Putrajaya, Malaysia

11/15/14 Center for Spiritual Living in Ventura, CA

11/22/14 Aubergine in Sebastopol, CA

03/07/15 Arden Theatre in AB
