This is a true story, we tried to see Swervedriver at NXNE 2011. Even though we had tickets to the venue, we were actually turned away because by the time we showed up, the Great Hall in Toronto was already over capacity! Fans had shown up way too early on that date. (We were already covering a ton of other bands that date, so it wasn't such a loss).
So maybe this March, when the London band tour the USA around SXSW 2015, will we finally get to see the band. Incidentally, Swervedriver's upcoming album I Wasn't Born To Lose You, their first in 17 years, will be out March 3rd, 2015, on Cobraside.

French Cuban twins, Naomi and Lisa-Kaindé DÃaz (daughters of the late Cuban percussion Anga DÃaz), are known on stage as Ibeyi. They announced their first ever North American tour, kicking it all off at this year's SXSW.
Ibeyi's self-titled album is coming out February 17th, 2015, via XL Recordings.
