Grizfolk

Opening up the show was Grizfolk (not to be confused with the Griswolds) on their very first national tour (their first time in Minneapolis).

You may recall that we caught Grizfolk on their very first Minneapolis appearance on September 2015 with the Fratellis. The “Sweden, America” seemed really excited to be on their first national tour… and it’s not too long before they are headlining their 2016 in support of their debut LP Waking Up The Giants, available now on iTunes via Virgin Records.



Touring with them on this first leg of the tour will be Max Frost.
Knox Hamilton will join them on tour on Feb 12th.

Missouri indie-pop band Never Shout Never is stopping in Dinkytown at The Varsity Theater on February 2nd as part of their spring tour. This tour is in support of their latest release Black Cat on Warner Brothers Records. They will be joined on stage by Metro Station which features Trace Cyrus (yes, Miley Cyrus’ older brother) on vocals. The last time I saw these NSN was at Station 4 (R.I.P) during a snowstorm, so I was the only one there. This show will be different, make sure you get your tickets soon!

County music singer Chris Young is “comin’ over” to Minneapolis as part of his tour in support of his fifth album, I’m Comin’ Over.
If you didn’t know, Young was the winner of Nashville Star (USA Network) in 2006, and have steadily recording music with his winning Sony Music contract.
