Indie-rock vets We Are Scientists will be on their Come One Get Huffy tour in Feb 2022! They’ll stop by the 7th Street Entry on Feb 9th.
We last saw the band in May 2019 and wrote, “Next up was New York, by the way of Berkeley, We Are Scientists. The duo features Keith Murray on lead vocals and guitars and Chris Cain on bass and backing vocals, but for the live shows, they’ve added Keith Carne on drums.
I’ve told this story before, but I first discovered the band in 2006, when the band had a massive breakthrough success with their debut With Love and Squalor. Just simply listening to the album for the first time, we were all singing along – that’s to show you how catchy their songs are.”

Brothers band The Cribs (Gary, Ryan, and Ross) is returning to the USA on their 2022 tour. They are so excited, they are brining back their old Ford van: “SO excited to announce that, after over a year of waiting, we are FINALLY gonna be loading up our old Ford van and heading out to tour “Night Network” in the USA and Canada! Seriously, some of the best and most memorable times of our lives have come on our American tours over the years, and so we have been going crazy, waiting patiently whilst pushing super hard to make this happen. It felt so far away back when we released the album, so you just know we are ready to make every show count, as always. Love you all, thanks for waiting for us!”
We saw the trio in Sep 2015 and said, “West Yorkshire’s The Cribs recently made a stop at the Turf Club in St Paul. Although the band has played Minneapolis many times, this is only the band’s second St Paul show in eight years, on the eve of the infamous I-35W Mississippi River bridge collapse (August 1st, 2007).”
