We already liked almost everything we’ve heard from Grammy® Award-nominated songwriter, producer, and guitarist Cory Wong but he’s raised his game with the release of The Paisley Park Session, a new live album recorded and filmed earlier this year at Prince’s legendary Paisley Park just outside of Minneapolis. His tour kicks off in Kansas City and the leg ends with a hometown Minneapolis show in snowy February.
“Paisley Park is such a legendary place to record music,” says Wong. “It was Prince’s studio and even home for years. Studio A was his sanctuary. Coming back to Paisley Park and recording my songs was an absolute joy. The band was hot that day and it shows in the recording.”
