at Turf Club
first-avenue.com
Little Rock’s Pallbearer is touring in support of Mind Burns Alive (Nuclear Blast Records). The new album is described by vocalist/guitarist Brett Campbell as, “a deeper exploration of dynamics and sonic color than anything we have done up to this point. I’m of the belief that true heaviness comes from emotional weight, and sometimes sheer bludgeoning isn’t the right approach to getting a feeling across.”
REZN and The Keening (aka Rebecca Vernon) to open.

first-avenue.com
Vancouver-based rising pop artist Xana is headlining the 7th Street Entry, on June 28, 2024, as part of “The Sex Was Good Tour”. The tour will also stop by Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 29, where she’s set to perform ahead of Fletcher.
Xana rocketed to fame with her debut song “Goddess”, racking in over 13M+ streams on Spotify alone. The new album, The Sex Was Good Until It Wasn’t, explores queer empowerment and celebrates sexual pleasure … which Xana adds, “As a queer person, my relationship with sex all my life has been a challenging road to navigate, and I think it’s really important to remind people that sex isn’t the end all be all and sex is allowed to be–and supposed to be–fun and lighthearted and pleasurable for all parties.”
Los Angeles’ DEZI to open. The songwriter/producer described herself as, “I’m half-Cuban, I’m bisexual, I’m very fem but also very masc. For a long time I felt like I had to choose which parts of myself to show, but now I’ve stopped trying to be some sort of perfect package.”

The Dandy Warhols
with Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor
at Varsity Theater
livenation.com
Portland’s beloved The Dandy Warhols are a “Minnesoter” favorite, so, of course, in the midst of playing Latin America, the band dedicated a few dates to the Midwest, including a show at the Varsity Theater, in Minneapolis, on the Summer tour.
The band’s new album Rockmaker is out now on Sunset Blvd.
We last saw the Dandies in May 2019 and wrote, “Heads bobbed as 2003’s ‘We Used to Be Friends’ fired up, though not charting in the U.S., people recognized it from its licensing and being the theme to ‘Veronica Mars’, and longtime local fans appreciated the nod to our area in 1997’s ‘Minnesoter’.”
Detroit’s Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor to open.
