St Vincent at 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction (03 Nov 2023)

We saw St Vincent in Nov 2023 and said, “Longtime super fan Big Boi from Outkast inducted no-show Kate Bush, who was paid tribute by St. Vincent, who sang a note-perfect version of “Running Up That Hill”, a thirty-five-year-old hit which found new life on Netflix series, “Stranger Things” (which undoubtedly helped with her voting totals).”

Platinum-selling rockers Badflower is headlining the Fillmore, in Minneapolis, on September 20, 2024.

It’s a shame that Slothrust will not be at the Fillmore show, however
Texas duo Missio and Divide The Fall will open.

Missio at First Avenue (17 May 2017)

We saw Missio in May 2017 and wrote, “Opening up the show was Austin duo Missio, featuring singer Matthew Brue and producer David Butler. For their live shows, they’re joined on stage by a live percussionist…. The band played tracks from their then-forthcoming Loner album, such as ‘I Don’t Give a…’ (the recording of the record featured Zeale). As always the duo was very thankful that fans knew and help promote their breakthrough single ‘Middle Fingers’ (the single peaked at #9 on the Alternative charts), which ended their brief 35-min set.”
