As with many Irish bands (and especially true with large ensemble), they don’t often play in our area. In fact, the last time we mentioned the band, was in March 2018. If you missed them seven years ago, now is your chance to see the group.

at Turf Club

first-avenue.com

Jazz is Dead founder and composer Adrian Younge announced a tour in support of Something About April III, the final album-length installment of his psychedelic soul trilogy with a unique Brazilian twist. The record comes out April 18 on Linear Labs.

The upcoming tour, complete with a full 10-piece orchestra, will come to the Turf Club, on pi day, March 14, 2025.

We saw Adrian Younge, with the The Midnight Hour, in Oct 2019 and said, “Younge mentioned that the group was last in town about a year ago and was pleased to see the same fans returning to see them again. When he noticed many fans were in the back, he joked, “Is there a band playing back there? Because we’re up here!” Immediately the audience gathered around the front of the stage.”
