artoflondon.co.uk

Art of London’s Art After Dark has transformed London’s West End with a free cosmic takeover by acclaimed artist Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian (founder of NASA’s International Space Orchestra).

Throughout the three-night spectacle (06-08 March 2025), the public is also invited to look at the night sky during the ‘galaxy season’ with the usage of UNISTELLAR’s advanced telescopes.

The timing (March 8) also coincide with International Women’s Day, so the interstellar art programme will spotlight female and non binary musicians and innovators from leading astronomical organizations together. Women, music, and space, what more than you can ask for?

Church of Cash at le Musique Room
lemusiqueroom.com

Johnny Cash tribute band Church of Cash is playing two shows at le Musique Room, in St. Michael, Minnesota, this Saturday, March 8, 2025.

We saw the band at le Musique Room in May 2024 and wrote, ““Sunday funday,” said Jay Ernest as the band took the stage and got right to it with “Jackson.” The Church of Cash is a review band with a simple mission: to honor the lasting legacy of Johnny Cash. Ernest was the emcee, the laidback minister, the conjurer of the late singer right down to the black outfit, bulwark-chest and whiskey barrel voice. A traveling musician by trade, Ernest found himself in Oahu playing bass in a hybrid reggae/Motown band. On his days off he would grab his acoustic guitar and play background music in an Irish bar in the Chinatown neighborhood of Honolulu. And as he played, he noticed the patrons would stop conversing and drinking to listen when he sang a Johnny Cash song. From that eureka moment the Church of Cash was formed.”

If your band is coming to the Minneapolis/St Paul area, please email details to vu@weheartmusic.com with a good lead time. Thank you.
