Glass Animals 2025 Tour Dates

GRAMMY and BRIT-nominated Glass Animals announced the extension of their hugely successful Tour of Earth with 16 new dates across North America this summer, including Saratoga Springs and Asbury Park.

We saw Glass Animals in March 2020 and said, “Glass Animals (Dave Bayley – vocals/guitar; Drew MacFarlane– guitar/keys; Ed Irwin-Singer– bass/keys; Joe Seaward– drums) has developed a special kinship with Kansas City, one of its earliest and still-strongest US markets, as evidenced by the band coming into town a day early, to surprise fans with an impromptu meet and greet pop-up, and hiding a few much-coveted golden ticket passes around downtown, for the many fans that missed on tickets, to scramble to find with help from coordinates posted on social media. The band took a well deserved break after their last tour, partially as a result of drummer Seaward being struck by a truck in Ireland while cycling, which resulted in serious injuries, but they have returned strongly with a few new songs, in anticipation of a new full-length to follow.”

Brush up on your Welsh, yanks! Gruff Rhys, lead singer and guitarist of the indie rock band Super Furry Animals and part of the electro-pop group Neon Neon, is digging up his solo sounds. In May, he’s re-releasing a remastered version of American Interior, his 2014 solo album, which will include bonus tracks. Unlike his mellower, more folk-y solo work, American Interior, which is based off of a distant relative who explored the Great Plains of the U.S., has more of the propulsive kick and anything-goes vibe of his Super Furry Animals sounds. And he’s embarking on a companion tour to promote this reissue, which includes dates in the UK, and, naturally, the U.S. Says, Rhys: “ I feel I owe it to my former self to take these songs back on the road… and re-tell the story for a new decade.”
