Mpls: December 6 to December 10, 2025
Here are some shows in Minneapolis/St Paul from December 6 to December 10, 2025: • The Lemonheads at Fine Line (Dec 6, 2025) • Cattle Decapitation at First Avenue (Dec 10, 2025) • Autoheart at Fine Line (Dec 10, 2025)
90s band The Lemonheads are back with a brand-new album in almost two decades, Love Chant (Fire Records). To promote the new album, they’re heading out on tour, stopping by the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on December 6, 2025.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield in Toronto in 2011: “We all knew everyone was there to see Evan and Juliana. I was also happy with their setlist, I was worried that they would be doing new songs, but they did a bunch of old Lemonheads song (including “Into Your Arms”, “Bit Part” and “Drug Buddy”) and two Juliana numbers (“Choose Drugs” and “Dear Anonymous”). None of the three big hits were played, but I suspect that has more to do with the two of them playing acoustics vs a full band.”
Erin Rae to open.

Originally, this Autoheart at the Fine Line was supposed to take place on September 27, 2025, but due to logistic problems, the show had to be rescheduled to December 10, 2025. All tickets purchased for original show will be honored.
Wild Party to open. We caught the Texas band in Feb 2015 and wrote, “The evening began with a set by San Antonio, TX originating band Wild Party, who threw down an entertaining 40 min. of indie power pop. Their debut full-length, Phantom Pop (Old Friends Records), was slightly reworked from an earlier release and came out last October, though many of the songs, including initial single ‘When I Get Older’, date back four years prior. The band (Lincoln Kreifels- vocals, Lucas Hughes-guitar, Ethan Kaufmann- bass and Cary LaScala- drums) plays a likeable sonic blend that sits well alongside tracks by Spoon, Phoenix, and Magic Man.”
