I’m sure many of you have already learned that actress Hayden Panettiere has died at the age of 36. It is always tragic to hear someone so young passing away.

Panettiere became famous as the cheerleader in Heroes in 2006. That show that ran on NBC was one of the hottest things that year. That first season was absolute perfection. I love that first season, still own the DVD (Best Buy Edition) and subsequent seasons on Bluray. I think the writers were unprepared for the later seasons, and just ran out of good ideas. Still, that was my first introduction to Hayden, I loved her in the show.

After Heroes she joined the cast of Scream (see Scream All Night Wrong), and then the ABC’s musical drama series Nashville, starting in 2012.

I have never watched Nashville, since I’m not really into country music or soap opera. Panettiere, who plays the rising young country singer, actually sings all her songs for the show. There is no stunt double for the singing!
