I’ll admit, I love Lykke Li. She made it on my top five a few years ago and she remain one of my favorite artist to emerged from Sweden. Anyway, today (October 25th), Lykke Li offers two tracks from her “Get Some” single for free, and it gives us a glimpse of what’s to come for her forthcoming album, due out next early next year.
You can get “Get Some” and “Paris Blue” on her website.
If you were hoping to catch her this year, good luck, they’re all sold out:
11/2/10 Paris, La Maroquinerie (SOLD OUT)
11/4/10 London, Heaven (SOLD OUT)
11/8/10 Stockholm, Kägelbanan (SOLD OUT)
12/1/10 New York, Le Poisson Rouge (SOLD OUT)
Fear not, I’m told that she’ll be doing more dates in 2011, so stay tuned.
HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART Y
www.beastieboys.com
Capitol Records and Beastie “the single longest lived hip-hop act” Boys have announced that their new album is called Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 (and it will be released before Hot Sauce Committee Part 1). I know, I know, even MCA is confused when he stated:
From the press release, it looks like maybe Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is a return to old school rap and hip hop, instead of their weird all-instrumental album, The Mix-Up that they released a few years ago.
Track Listing as follows:
1. Tadlock’s Glasses 2. B-Boys In The Cut 3. Make Some Noise 4. Nonstop Disco Powerpack 5. OK 6. Too Many Rappers (featuring NAS) 7. Say It 8. The Bill Harper Collection |
9. Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win 10. Long Burn The Fire 11. Funky Donkey 12. Lee Majors Come Again 13. Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament 14. Pop Your Balloon 15. Crazy Ass Shit 16. Here’s A Little Something For Ya |
KT TUNSTALL DOES THE HULU

You can now watch all of KT Tunstall’s music videos, live performances, and various appearances on Hulu at
hulu.com/kt-tunstall.
This is just in time to announce her upcoming tour dates and “Fade Like A Shadow” remix contest with Indaba (the Grand Prize Winner will receive $1000, plus various goodies).
The upcoming tour is for her album, Tiger Suit, which I don’t have, but from what I’ve read, it’s a little folk and a little alternative. I wonder if it’s anything like Drastic Fantastic, then it’s probably worth listening to.
Maybe you can pick up a copy when you see her on tour:
