Here are shows taking place in Minneapolis/St Paul on October 12, 2014.

Co-headlining tour for Total Slacker, a New York band signed to Black Bell Records … who you can expect them to visit the local Olive Garden when they play in town. Hey, who can say no to unlimited bread sticks?
The co-headliner is Paws, a Glasgow-based punk band signed to FatCat Records. The trio’s latest album is Youth Culture Forever, which came out earlier this year.
Also on the bill is Florida’s Flashlights with their new album Bummer Summer via Hard Rock Records. This looks like a wonderful little show, if you happen to live near St Paul, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Trivia: In Glasgow, they call ‘flashlights’ as ‘torches’.

More proof that EDM is further taking over the airwaves- this American electronic music duo Odesza from Seattle (Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight) was upgraded into First Avenue from a smaller venue, after ticket demand was at a high.
Their debut album, Summer’s Gone, was released in with a follow-up first EP in 2013 entitled My Friends Never Die. Odesza’s latest album In Return is out now on Counter Records.
Put on your dancing shoes for this one.

Ryan Beatty will be opening up the show. Beatty is a 19 year old YouTube star, whose EP Because of You debut #1 on the iTunes Pop Charts in 2012.
NOTE: This all-ages shows starts at 4:30pm, so be sure to show up early for this one…. the good thing is that you’ll likely be in bed by 9pm.
