We’ve already pointed out the importance of this ten-year hiatus from Death From Above 1979, but we didn’t talk about the opening band.

To rectify that I have to tell you that Toronto-based Biblical will be opening up the show. The psychedelic rock is touring in support of their debut full-length, Monsoon Season, released earlier this year via New Damage Records (Ken Mode, USA Out Of Vietnam).

Biblical formed in 2010, and consists of Nick Sewell (bass/vocals), Jay Anderson (drums), Matt Mclaren (guitarist) and Andrew Scott (guitar).

One half of The Groovie Ghoulies’s Kepi Ghoulie and Portland’s Mean Jeans are going to tour together this fall from November 20 – December 6th! According to their press release, Mean Jeans will be playing double-duty, as a full band set, but also as Kepi’s backup band.
