According to the poster artwork, Melbourne’s Twerps were openers to all the Australian Laneway Presents/Penny Drop dates. The last news I heard from Twerps was that their new album is called Range Anxiety, which came out this week (January 27, 2015) via Merge Records. Look for Twerps in the United States, touring around SXSW 2015.
As a special side show, B&S are also set to play at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney this Saturday, January 31st, which Sally is also attending. You can hear all the upcoming plan on our Party Line.
Looking over their setlist, there were about four songs from Girls in Peacetime Want To Dance (two of them played at the beginning), but the rest were older songs – which is fine, as I’m sure most fans aren’t that familiar with the new songs.
