The J.K. Rowling/Harry Potter-themed dance party named Wizard Fest just took place at the Cabooze in Minneapolis on Thursday night (September 27th). Legally, I don‚Äôt think the organizers can advertised this as ‚ÄúHarry Potter Party‚Äù, but internally, that is what everybody is calling this event.

Oddly enough, most Harry Potter fans are a little younger (and avid book readers)‚Ä¶ so organizing the event on a school night (Thursday!), and at a biker‚Äôs bar, seems out of place for the beloved franchise. Basically, wrong time and wrong venue for Potter fans. Having said that, there is a market for older Potter fans, interested in drinking beer and meeting other fans at a dance party with a live DJ.
