Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at Turf Club Psychedelic Porn Crumpets Setlist

Australia’s Psychedelic Porn Crumpets (Jack McEwan as singer and guitarist, Luke Parish on guitars, Danny Caddy on drums, and Luke Reynolds on bass) headlined the Turf Club on Sunday, September 22nd.
California’s Meatbodies (aka “Chad and the Meatbodies”) opened the show. If you didn’t know, the band consists of
Chad Ubovich (who also plays bass in Fuzz and touring member of Mikal Cronin), Kevin Boog and Patrick Nolan.
My favorite of their set was penultimate song “Alice”, which went on jamming well after it’s supposed to end.
Perth, Australia’s Psychedelic Porn Crumpets closed out the show. If you’re a fan of Tame Impala and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard , you’ll really like PPC.
The band playfully started their set with the unique guitar riffs from Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water”, before kicking into “Surf’s Up”.
The band’s fairly new, releasing their debut, High Visceral (Part 1) in 2016, but quickly followed by Part 2 a year later. The band’s third album is called And Now For The Whatchamacallit (What Reality? Records).
