Fallout Day 2025
Update: No major announcements… at least nothing that exciting to me. I’ll break down announcements.

From Bethesda:

  • Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition (November 10, 2025) – Free if you own the game.
    • Available on Switch 2 in 2026.
  • Fallout: New Vegas collectibles ($155) – game, plus statue of Victor
  • Fallout 76: Burning Springs

From McFarlane Toys:

  • 7-inch Action Figures:
    • Maximus, Ghoul, Val, Hank, Cooper Howard ($35 each)
    • Lucy with Dogmeat – Elite ($60)
    • NCR Ranger – Elite ($60)
  • 2-pack:
    • Benny & NCR Ranger ($70)
    • Female Survivor & Power Armor Vault Tech color ($70)
  • 6-inch non-articulated figure:
    • Lucy, Deathclaw, Securitron ($30)
    • Vault Boy – Three Poses ($30)

Leading up to Fallout Day, McFarlane released all their pre-orders, so there were no surprises. These figures used to be $24, but since the tariffs, they’re now about $35 each. Elite figures are $60. As much as I want to collect them all, I have to be really selective in buying some of these. I want at least one power armor, so maybe that is all I’ll get.

As the resident Weekend Gamer and Fallout fan, I’ll be tuning in to check out the special live streaming from Bethesda for their Fallout Day on October 23, 2025.
After playing the Oblivion Remaster, I did mention that the next remaster on Bethesda’s schedule is Fallout 3… so could it be possible that we are going to get Fallout 3 Remastered on Fallout Day? That would be awesome, but it’s probably just wishful thinking. The reality is that it’s probably just going to be another expansion Fallout 76 (which is my least favorite Fallout game).
The Burning Springs expansion for Fallout 76 is scheduled for December 2025, so the live stream could probably touch on some of the key features in the game, including a new storyline to tie to the Fallout TV series and brand-new map area (with new creatures).
This makes sense, since we know The Ghoul, from the television show, is basically immortal, so he could appear across all the Fallout games.
Also, as part of the Fallout Day celebration, McFarlane Toys has announced a series of Deluxe action figures, including Maximus (with swapable head), The Ghoul, Cooper Howard (Amazon and Gamestop Exclusive), Steph Harper (who?? That one-eye girl), and Hank in Power Armor (Kyle MacLachlan). McFarlane previously announced Elite Editions of Lucy and Fallout 76 Power Armor and those figures are $60 each. McFarlane’s Deluxe, I am guessing will be a lower price point, like $30 or $40. There’s no dicing it, it’s going to be expensive to try and collect all these figures. As one of the biggest Fallout fan around, I probably won’t be getting them all. I’ll probably just stick to the Power Armors and the rest I’ll get them if the “price is right”… meaning I will wait for a sale.
Anyway, I’ll report back if the Fallout Day has anything new to report back (particularly if we are getting Fallout 3 Remastered). Still, if anything, at least with the Fallout celebration, we’re getting sales and discounts on a variety of Fallout-related games, so if you’re missing a game or two, now is a great time to buy them.

Yours,
