Thomas Sticha’s monthly residency was packed at the White Squirrel Bar in Saint Paul for his folk country sound. With special guest Sophie Hiroko’s grunge revival, it was quite the evening.

Thomas Sticha is a Minnesota-based country-folk artist who has blazed his own trail in the scene over the last two years. His songwriting is thoughtful and clever, often paired with imaginative storytelling and disarming humor. With four new singles in 2025 and plenty more on the way, Thomas and his band are positioned well to break out as an emerging Midwest country-folk act in 2026.
