We Were Promised Jetpacks

We Were Promised Jetpacks are a Scottish indie rock band originally from Edinburgh, formed in 2003. The band consists of Adam Thompson (vocals, guitar), Sean Smith (bass) and Darren Lackie (drums). Stuart McGachan (keyboards, guitar) was a member of the band from 2012 to 2015. On 2 July 2019, founding member Michael Palmer (guitar) announced that he was leaving the band.

Mid-February and the midwest finds itself in the dog days of winter. While Minnesota remains in the deep permafrost, the Kansas City area (still exhaling from the Chiefs Super Bowl win and subsequent massive parade) is in a weather pattern that is anything but predictable-- 72 and sunny on Super Sunday, then single-digit overnight lows soon after, then back to close to 60- wash, rinse, repeat.

You know, the festival is only four days, but it really seem like weeks.

While having every band in the world merge at one place might sound like a great idea... sometime their appearance conflicts with other artists that you also want to see. So one of the biggest problem I had was sacrificing who to see.
