Marc Ribot will be touring in support of Map of a Blue City (New West Records). The tour will stop in at the Cedar Cultural Center, in Minneapolis, on September 5, 2025.

Popular band The Black Keys is returning to Minneapolis, playing the Armory, on September 6, 2025.

18-year-old Folk/Country artist born and raised in Hackett, Arkansas, Waylon Wyatt will be headlining the Fine Line, on September 8, 2025. Wyatt was previously in town earlier in March 2025.

The hottest band of 2022 (and now 2025!), Wet Leg will be headlining First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on September 9, 2025. The tour is in support of their album moisturizer.

Indie pop band Japanese Breakfast (aka Michelle Zauner) is back in the Twin Cities, playing the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on September 9, 2025. Their latest album For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women) is available now on Dead Oceans. Last year we saw Japanese Breakfast play their biggest venue yet: the Armory!

Sri Lankan-born, Stockholm-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Arc De Soleil is touring in support of his debut album Lumin Rain (Maison Arts). The tour will stop by the Varsity Theater, in Minneapolis, on September 10, 2025.

It looks like Neal Francis has decided to book the Turf Club, in St Paul, ahead of his Music Festival appearance at Lake Effect Music Fest, in Wisconsin. That’s good news for the Twin Cities.

London’s Wargasm (Sam Matlock and Milkie Way) will be bringing their explosive metal/electronica/alternative music to the Turf Club, in St Paul, on September 12, 2025. Be sure to check out this duo, you won’t regret it. Their singles “Circle Pit” and “Bad Seed” out now via slowplay / Republic / Island UK.

Brighton’s rock trio Nature TV (Guy, James, and Josh), will be headlining the 7th Street Entry, on September 13, 2025. The band, not to be confused with EZTV, Natural (boyband), Nature (70s band), or Public Access TV, is signed to Heist or Hit and have released several singles and EPs.

New York’s Chanel Beads (aka Shane Lavers) will be headlining Zhora Darling, in Minneapolis, on September 13, 2025. Irish musician Maria Somerville to open. Her second studio album, Luster, is available now on 4AD on vinyl, CD and digital.

Chicago trio FACS is touring in support of their sixth studio album Wish Defense (Trouble In Mind Records).

Welsh singer Marina, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds, will be headlining the Fillmore, in Minneapolis, on September 15, 2025.

Musician, producer, spatial audio innovator and frontman of Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson has pushed the boundaries between expansive rock music and visionary electronic sound. Wilson’s recent eighth solo album ‘The Overview’ and accompanying tour promises to transport you to space with live audio visual escapism. The six-time-Grammy Award-nominated musician, songwriter and producer make his first full-band solo headline run in North America for the first time in over seven years. You’ll also get the chance to hear tracks from previous album ‘The Harmony Codex’ played live for the first time.

Brooklyn’s Daisy the Great (Mina Walker and Kelley Dugan) is back in the Twin Cities! The duo’s latest, The Rubber Teeth Talk, came out last month on S-Curve Records.

The Waterboys finally return to these shores on their first North American tour in six years, in support of new album, Life Death and Dennis Hopper, which is inspired by the life of the late Easy Rider actor (kind of a strange them for an album, but 'In Mike we Trust').

Catskills-based singer/songerwriter Hannah Cohen is returning to the 7th Street Entry, on September 17, 2025. It appears that this was her day off with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, so she decided to book and headline the 7th Street Entry.  Cohen’s critically acclaimed album Earthstar Mountain is out now on Bella Union / Congrats Records.

Bombastic British hard rock band The Darkness is touring in support of their new album Dreams On Toast (Cooking Vinyl). The tour will stop by the Varsity Theater, in Minneapolis, on September 19, 2025.

Nashville-based singer/songwriter Hailey Whitters is touring in support of her critically-acclaimed new album Corn Queen (Pigasus Records / Big Loud Records / Songs & Daughtersa). The tour will stop by the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on September 20, 2025.

Evanescence at Xcel Energy Center: It’s an all-star 93x’s “Family Reunion” show at Xcel Energy Center, in St Paul, on Friday, September 19, 2025.

Legendary band Sparks (featuring brothers Ron and Russell Mael) continues their tour in support of their new MAD! album (available on Transgressive Records). The tour will stop by the Fitzgerald Theater, in St Paul, on September 20, 2025.

Legendary Britpop band Pulp (featuring band leader Jarvis Cocker) is returning to the USA to celebrate their new album More (Rough Trade Records). 

Farm Aid 40, the 40th anniversary of the Farm Aid benefit concert, will be held in Minneapolis, MN for the first time in its history. The event will take place at Huntington Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus and is a full-day celebration of music, family farmers, HOMEGROWN food, and agricultural experiences.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Dakota Jazz Club, they are throwing a free music block party in the streets, but also inside the restaurant.

Nashville singer-songwriter Austin Snell is headlining the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on September 20, 2025, in support of his new EP Home Sweet Hell (River House Artists/Warner Music Nashville). The “artist worth watching” buzz singer racked up nearly 400 million streams since arriving in Nashville.

Manchester’s James is back in town, playing First Avenue, on September 21, 2025. The band was previously in town with Johnny Marr (of the Smiths).

NYC-based experimental dance punks Guerilla Toss is touring and will stop by the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on September 21, 2025.

Texas shoegazers Glare is touring in support of their debut album Sunset Funeral, stopping by the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, in St Paul, on September 22, 2025.

Florida’s self-produced, singer-songwriter quannnic is touring in support of their forthcoming album Warbrained due August 22nd via deadAir. The tour will stop by the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on September 22, 2025.

Tyler Hilton and Kate Voegele will be playing the Turf Club, in St Paul, on September 22, 2025, as part of their “Celebrating the Music of One Tree Hill”.

Iconic French electronic duo Polo & Pan will be bringing their 22:22 show to the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on September 23, 2025.

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Ethan Regan is touring in support of honey honey honey (Columbia Records). The tour will stop by the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, in St Paul, on September 23, 2025.

Australian new wave/post-punk band Radio Free Alice is touring in support of their new EP Empty Words (available everywhere on August 20, 2025). The tour will stop by the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on September 24, 2025.

Supergroup Deltron 3030 is bringing rap music from the year 3030 to 2025. As you guys already know, we’re big fans. If you didn’t know, Deltron 3030 is Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan the Automator and Kid Koala. It’s rare to see them together, so you need to be singing along with them at the Uptown Theater, in Minneapolis, on September 24, 2025. Be there or be square!

Prior to his world tour, Makaya McCraven will be headlining the Icehouse, in Minneapolis, on September 25, 2025, in support of In The Moment.

midwxst is touring in support of his sophomore album archangel. The tour will head to the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, in St Paul, on September 26, 2025.

The last time Nation of Language was supposed to play in Minnesota, they had to cancel at the last minute due to falling sick and cannot sing. It’s been a while, but now the band is back in town, three years later!

Virginia’s rising trio Palmyra (Sasha Landon, Teddy Chipouras, and Mānoa Bell) will be headlining the 7th Street Entry on September 26, 2025, in support of their debut album Restless (Oh Boy Records).

London’s Wolf Alice are back in the United States, touring in support of their fourth album The Clearing. The tour will stop by First Avenue, on September 27, 2025.

This rescheduled show for Cochise at the Fine Line was originally set in March 1, 2025… but the date was moved to September 27, 2025, now taking place at the 7th Street Entry.Pradabagshawty and DJ ROZAY2FWE to open.

Jack Van Cleaf is out on tour in support of their sophomore album JVC, available on Dualtone Records. The tour will stop by the 7th Street Entry on September 28, 2025.

Death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE are pleased to welcome Full Of Hell to their previously announced US headlining tour this Fall. The trek begins on September 15th in Nashville, Tennessee and makes its way through over two dozen cities, the tour drawing to a close on October 22nd in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additional support will be provided by Municipal Waste and Fulci.

Philadelphia-based indie rock quartet Mo Lowda & the Humble returns to Minneapolis on September 28, 2025 to support their fifth album, Tailing The Ghost.

Icelandic pop experimentalist múm will be headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, on September 28, 2025. Múm’s new album History of Silence (Morr Music) will come out September 19, ahead of their St Paul appearance.

Denver’s Fox Lake (not to be confused with Canada’s Fox Lake) will be headlining Studio B (inside the Skyway Theatre), in Minneapolis on September 28, 2025.Kaonashi, Surfaced and more to open.

Minnesota’s John Maus is bringing his unique performance on tour in support of Later Than You Think. The singer will stop by the Green Room, in Minneapolis, on September 28, 2025.

London/Huddersfield’s jadu heart (Diva-Sachy Jeffrey and Alex Headford) will be headlining the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, in St Paul, on October 1, 2025. The band was last seen in town on February 1, 2023 at the 7th St Entry.

South Philadelphia’s Low Cut Connie returns to First Avenue, this October 2, 2025. The piano-driven Adam Weiner puts on an amazing show - don’t miss this one. If the date doesn’t work out for you, their first-ever Connie Live is available now on Contender Records.

Frankie and the Witch Fingers will be headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, on October 2, 2025, in support of the new album Trash Classic.

Ruston Kelly will be headlining Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on October 2, 2025, in support of Pale, Through the Window (coming out Sept 12 via Rounder Records). In the meantime, you can listen to his single “Waiting to Love You.”

Australian indie duo Royel Otis is currently enjoying touring success, stopping by the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on October 2, 2025. The duo’s second album hickey will be out August 22 on OURNESS / Capitol Records.

The (What If God Was) “One of Us” singer Joan Osborne is doing four shows over two nights on October 3 and 4, at the Dakota Jazz Club, in Minneapolis. According to the billing, it looks like Osborne will be covering Bob Dylan songs.

Texas Female Artist of the Decade, Bri Bagwell, is returning to Minneapolis, at the Aster Café, in Minneapolis, on October 3, 2025. Bagwell was last seen in town in March 2025.

Ireland’s chart-topping Kingfishr will be headlining the Cedar Cultural Center on October 3, 2025. The band established themselves as one of the biggest breaking artist of 2025 with their debut album Halcyon.

Rapper Rico Nasty will be headlining First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on October 3, 2025, in support of her new album Lethal (out now Fueled by Ramen / Atlantic Music Group).

American rock band Garbage (led by Scottish singer/actress Shirley Manson) will be headlining First Avenue on October 4, 2025, in support of their new album Let All That We Imagine Be the Light.

Oxford’s Swervedriver is headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, on October 4, 2025.

Destroyer is headlining the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on October 4, 2025, in support of their 14th album Dan’s Boogie (Merge Records). This upcoming tour will feature a full seven-piece band, for a complete Destroyer experience.

Musical duo, Aly & AJ is back on tour, headlining the Skyway Theatre, in Minneapolis, on October 4, 2025. The last time we mentioned the duo was in June 2022. If Aly Michalka looks familiar, that’s because she’s a main character in the CW’s iZombie (2014-2017).

Los Angeles-based Iranian composer, producer, and santoor virtuoso Ehsan Matoori will bring his latest project, Fountain of Eternity to the O’Shaughnessy Auditorium, on October 4, 2025. The live debut will also feature Persian vocalist Maliheh Moradi and Mongolian throat singer Tamir Hargana. The trio will be joined on stage by dancers Miriam Peretz and Carson Brooks. This should be an unforgettable night.

Florida native and Los Angeles-based queer indie pop star Caroline Kingsbury is co-headlining with MARIS at the Green Room, in Minneapolis, on October 4, 2025. The two singers had a collaboration single, “Give Me A Sign,” so expect to see both performing this song.

Indigenous solo black metal project Blackbraid is headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, on October 5, 2025, in support of Blackbraid III album.
