NIGHT MOVES

nightmovesmpls.com

Night Moves is a band based out of Minneapolis. They are getting a lot of buzz for landing on the cover of the Star Tribune as well as awarded “Best New Band” by City Pages.

In October, the band will be heading out on tour with Lord Huron, who we previously mentioned as “a very strong visual approach alongside these stories and wayfaring sounds.”

Lord Huron’s album Lonesome Dreams will be out October 9th, with Night Moves’ Colored Emotions to hit stores October 16 via Domino Records. Night Moves’ record release party will be at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis with Lord Huron.

KATE MILLER-HEIDKE

www.katemillerheidke.com

I’ve been aware of Australian singer/songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke since 2008, and I’m happy to see her on tour in support of Nightflight.

Nightflight came out earlier this Summer from SonyMusic Indepdent Network (aka SIN), and critics are calling her voice as “most gloriously elastic vocal chords in contemporary music.”

Plus, the best news yet, she’s currently on tour with Ben Folds Five!
