Lord Huron

Lord Huron is an LA based alternative pop band set to release their first full length album, Lonesome Dreams, on October 9th. Based on George Ranger Johnson's series of adventure stories titled "Lonesome Dreams,"…
Lord Huron played to a sold out show at the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on October 16th.

Night Moves wasn't in anyway disappointing either, being the release show for Colored Emotions, they really put it on. I've seen them on three different occasions, and I'm always amazed by their performance. They're a show that you can really feel. They get into this hypnotic groove every time. I was really excited to find that they were playing this show with Lord Huron, and that they're actually on tour together. They're two bands that I'm all about…it's a good union, to say the least.

I was in some sort of transcendental state caught between the sway of rhythm, and was naturally compelled to photograph this underlining experience. The whole show was every bit of atmospheric. Hearing 'The Stranger' shook all of my senses. It was the first Lord Huron song that I was introduced to, and it has this ironic placement in my life. It was the perfect ending to their set–and every piece of Lonesome Dreams was perpetually thrilling. You can't sum up the feeling of being in a moment where you're both coherent and out of touch; comfortably in another state.

Lord Huron was as captivating as I had hoped, and I was thrilled to experience their newest material in an organic form.

Lord Huron is currently on tour in support of Lonesome Dreams, out now via the independent label IAMSOUND Records.
