About the signing to Rock Ridge, Finck had this to say, "I am excited about my continuing and growing relationship with Rock Ridge. New York singer/songwriter Josh Elkes has confirmed his self-titled debut EP for March 19th, 2013. You can preview his first single, "Laid Down in Bows" via his Soundcloud page:

His music is said to be influenced by the works of Leonard Cohen (who isn't?) and more modern artists like Bright Eyes.

Elkes just finished his four-month residency at The Living Room in Manhattan, but you can still catch him at some upcoming New York shows:

Singer-songwriter Jos̩ James' Blue Note debut, No Beginning No End, came out to critical acclaim Рhitting #1 album on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart. James recently performed the lead single, "Trouble" on both CBS Late Show With David Letterman and TBS Conan, and was featured on The New York Times Arts & Leisure and on NPR All Things Considered.

Last week, James kicked off his tour – returning to the U.S. in March for some West Coast dates.
