PAPER LIONS

Paper Lions features two brothers, singer/guitarist John and bassist Rob MacPhee. The other members, guitarist Colin Buchanan were their next door neighbor, and high school friend drummer David MacDonald.

The Canadian indie rockers recently released My Friends last month (August 20th) on Fountain Pop Records. NOW loved the album, citing singer “John MacPhee’s falsetto vocals to the Beach Boys harmonies”, while Exclaim! adds, “It’s hard to think of a pop group any tighter than the MacPhee brothers and company…”

Paper Lions are gearing up for a massive 40-date tour across North America, kicking off tomorrow, September 11th.
Dates between September 11-26 are with Octopus Project, October 8-12 with Teenage Kicks, and October 22-November 2 with Fossil Collective.

THE LINEAGE

Cameron Bartolini (CAMBO) and brother Louie (LOU KOO) dropped their genius album Grimey Look Good today for music fans of all genres, not just our crazy Hip Hoppers. With beats that will get your blood pumping and impressive lyrics that are beyond mind-blowing, these native Northern California boys will have bobbin’ your head to every one of their monster tracks.

Did I mention they’re also easy on the eyes? These boys bring the heart back into Hip Hop…in a grimy kind of way. †H∑ LIN∑ÅG∑ is……… Rapper CÅMBØ and Producer LØU KØØ.

Brothers. No Lethal Weapon. The real kind. Of blood. Kin. Family. Familia. Like they used to do.

They make raw, independent, good music for the hard-working, whiskey-drinking soul that’s inside all of us.

  1. Make Believe Recordings
Make Believe Recordings started out of Make Believe Studios in Omaha, Nebraska in the fall of 2011 by Rick Carson and Keith Rodger. Since then, they have signed a wide-variety of artists that accept no limits to their creativity and expression. Make Believe Recordings’ main goal is to give artists the chance to write, record and release music all within the walls of Make Believe Studios so they know exactly what they’re giving to the public: a product of complete creative freedom. The way records should be made.
In the next coming months, we will have releases from Sam Martin, Kethro, and Dojorok. You can find all of their music and information at the links provided below.
