Der Fan (aka “Trance”) 1982 film about a disturbing teenage fan (Simone), obsessed with popstar/actor “R”. Cult-classic and great soundtrack by Rheingold (sounds like 80s new wave synth band). Star of the film is Desiree Nosbusch when she was only 17 years old in this picture.

UPDATE: Only found out after the podcast that the reason why this film is relatively rare is because Nosbusch tried to prevent the film from being released. The Blu-Ray/DVD Combo was only available in America on March 2015 via Mondo Macabro. You can purchase a copy at Amazon, it’s the best deal in town ($18).
