You thought they were extinct… but The Dodos will be back in Minneapolis on January 13th, in support of their new album Grizzly Peak (Polyvinyl Records).

We saw The Dodos in March 2015 and wrote, “You can tell that the two bands (Dodos and Springtime Carnivore) have really bonded on this tour… The Dodos must have heard the diaper commercial story from previous shows, as they made comments about it near the end of their set. Then for the very last song on the encore, Greta came on stage to play out to “Don’t Try And Hide It” with incredibly big smiles on all their faces.”

Excerpt We♥KC – November 1-15, 2021 Upcoming Shows (Kansas City / Lawrence / Topeka KS):

Indie rockers Remo Drive have been eager to hit the road again in support of latest album, A Portrait of an Ugly Man(Epitaph Records) which released last year. Self-produced and mixed, the group is led by brothers Erik (vocals, guitar) and Stephen (bass) Paulson, the band hopes to keep the momentum that their 2017 debut began.

Their sound can get un-apologetically loud, but don’t be waylaid by the somber and self-depreciating lyrics, as there’s also a sonic ray of hope to most of their songs.
