With the holiday season in full swing, this is likely the last busy live music week of the season (in terms of national touring bands), so find a show while you can. The weather is cooperating so far too, with temps swinging up from the 60s down to the 20s, but more constant cold and snow & ice will be more of a thing soon. Humble Bundle

I’m currently a Humble Bundle subscriber since September 2022 when I got my Steam Deck. I previously joined for one year, starting April 2019 to April 2020, because it was a great way to building up your Steam library without paying too much. The only downside is that you don’t actually know what you’re going to get.

Going for Gold XXXIV

Australian singer Meg Mac has released her new EP Live at Golden Retriever, which is not a “live album”, but a special five-track EP of some songs from her critically acclaimed #1 ARIA album Matter Of Time. Recorded at Golden Retriever studio in Marrickville over two days with Meg’s live band prior to the release of her album, the sessions captured unique live versions of the first few singles, as well as offering a sneak peak of new music that was yet to be released.

R.I.P. Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac vocalist / keyboardist)

Longtime Fleetwood Mac vocalist and keyboard player Christine McVie has just passed away at the age of 79. Her family shared the news earlier via a statement, noting she passed away at a hospital "following a short illness”.
