Produce Raffle 3

Our neighbor Prairie Clamor is holding their third annual Produce Raffle Charity event this Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. The acoustic show will take place at the Landing Strip, a community garden and social hub.
We previously saw Prairie Clamor at a dimly lit venue on June 2023 and wrote, “Prairie Clamor is an ever-evolving art project created by Will, first starting as a solo enterprise before moving into a full band with a “… revolving cast of sonic and visual collaborators.” Whereas Peck was subdued and reflective, Prairie Clamor came right out of the gate with a high-spirited set that had lasers, a fog machine, pounding drums and raucous guitars.”

HOW THE PRODUCE RAFFLE WORKS:
You can buy a raffle ticket at the event by donating any amount to Southside Harm Reduction. We are suggesting donations of $10-20. At the conclusion of the musical performance, the raffle will occur. If your ticket is pulled from the MAGIC RAFFLE JAR, then you will WIN a FABULOUS PRODUCE PRIZE! We’ll have a bunch of fresh FABULOUS PRODUCE PRIZES (and probably some special produce-adjacent prizes [!?]), but YOU are both welcome and encouraged to contribute PRODUCE PRICES from YOUR garden(s) to the raffle! The more the merrier! *Friends with zucchini plants, this is your chance.*
LOCATION INFORMATION:
This is an outdoor, 100% acoustic event. The Landing Strip is, for the most part, flat and grassy, though there are a few sections of slightly uneven ground. Assorted, limited seating will be available. If you have a preferred chair or blankie for lounging, you may want to bring it with you.
