Chicago’s Friday Pilots Club (formed in 2017 by vocalist Caleb Hiltunen and bassist Drew Polivick) will headline the 7th Street Entry, on October 23, 2024, in support of their debut album Nowhere. They’ll be with guitarists Sean Burke and James
Kourafas and drummer Eric Doar.

Chicago’s Real Friends will be headlining the Varsity Theater on October 23, 2024.

We saw the band in Apr 2015 and wrote, “The other Chicago band Real Friends also had a strong Minneapolis fanbase. Right off the bat, the band raved about The Varsity Theater’s bathroom (which won America’s Best Bathroom 2013 Award), describing it as something from Bilbo Baggins’ home. During “Loose Ends”, Knuckle Puck’s Joe Taylor showed up to help sing, which tells me that these two Chicago bands are probably close friends.”
