Thievery Corporation
at the Amp
theamp.com
Electronic music duo Thievery Corporation (Rob Garza and Eric Hilton) will be headlining the Amp (Backyard).
We saw them in Sep 2024 and had a great time: “If you thought Thievery Corporation was just going to do DJ set, you’d be wrong. They have a full live band, which included Rob Myers on sitar and guitar and Frank Orrall on percussion and vocals, Jeff Franca on drums, and Dan Africano on bass. And the best part is that they brought along three vocalists: Laura Vall, Racquel Jones, and Puma Ptah. What’s really interesting is that each singer had their own songs and would only come on stage to sing their songs (with the only exception being the set’s finale “Warning Shots”). It’s really cool, each of the three singers brought their own style and flavor to their songs. It’s very unique and you don’t see many live bands that operate like this.”

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band
at the Amp
theamp.com
Legendary Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will be headlining the Amp, in St Augustine, Florida, on June 22, 2025.
Ringo’s second Country album Look Up came out on January 10, 2025. Produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett, this stunning collection features 11 original songs, recorded this year in Nashville and Los Angeles.
We took some photos of Ringo Starr in Oct 2015 and wrote, “Legendary Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band just headlined the State Theatre in Minneapolis. No opening act, but that meant more time for Starr to play whatever he wanted for two hours! Plenty Beatles songs to keep everyone happy. Peace and Love! ”
