Generational pop icon Robyn will be releasing Sexistential on March 27, 2026, via Young. In the meantime, her new single (taken from the album), “Blow My Mind,” is a remix/redux of her 2002 song (from Don’t Stop The Music).
We’ve been really big fans of Robyn since we wrote about “Konichiwa Bitches” (particularly the remixes!) in Sep 2007.

Trophy Wives by Loaded (1990)
Loaded
I was browsing online and saw Loaded’s album Trophy Wives. I thought it was a funny cover, showcasing an elderly man with his very hot, young wife. I don’t know anything about the band, but a bit of digging and I found out this is not Duff McKagan’s band Loaded. Instead, this Loaded is the work of Harry Spero.
Who? Yeah, never heard of him either. Spero signed a record deal to release Trophy Wives in 1990 via Pacific Time Entertainment and Old Rockers in 1996 via Big Daddy Records.
Lois, an Amazon review, had glowing words to say about Trophy Wives:
I went to the Bitter End club a few weeks ago (in 2000) to see my boyfriend’s band. After his band played I was getting ready to leave, when this band Loaded came on. They were amazing from the first song! Great harmonies–terrific choruses. Every song was like a hit record. I bought the album and I haven’t stopped listening to it. “How’d She Get this Power” is my favorite song and I also love “Covered in Love”.
£70 For Peace Of Mind by Mulaa Joans (Sep 12, 2024)
Mulaa Joans
The first time I saw the debut album £70 For Peace Of Mind from Mulaa Joans (not to be confused with KingMulaa?), it was just the sexiest thing I’ve seen. Very casual, at home, at ease, just hanging out on a toilet eating a lollipop, as you do.
I’ve got some good news, for those keeping track of the British singer/songwriter. Her new single is called “Love Letter,” is available now on NWS Music Group/Atlantic Records. She’s got a fast-growing TikTok army, especially since her last single, “Phone Sex” got over a million global streams and had critics like CLASH raving:
A dose of pop over-sharing that seemingly stemmed from over-hearing a conversation on the tube, it shows Mulaa’s effervescence, her cheekiness, and her formidable voice.
Sirens Call by House of Lemons (Feb 13, 2026)
House of Lemons
One look at the pink dildo-ish thing on the cover of “Sirens Call” by House of Lemons caught my eye. This is an electro-rock duo from the Netherlands. They mentioned that the BBC showed strong support for their debut song “L O V E B O M B S”, so they were happy to come up with sequel, “Sirens Call.”
This is how they described “Sirens Call”.
“Plot twist: girls have wet dreams too.” 💋✨
This story is for the girls who’ve woken up blushing and never said a word about it. Desire doesn’t clock out when we fall asleep and there’s zero shame in the fantasy life your subconscious throws you. This song is about owning that secret heat, the pull of a siren’s call in your head. The call to listen to your body, to answer your own desire, and to normalize self-pleasure in a world that still doesn’t really talk about it for women.
We talk about sex now, but we stay quiet about what we do for ourselves. I’m choosing to say it out loud. There’s no shame in your dreams,
your cravings, or answering that inner call. Celebrate your pleasure. Own your fire. Let the siren sing.
Overthinking by Keeana Kee (Oct 16, 2025)
Keeana Kee
I had no idea who Keeana Kee, but when I saw her many single cover art, they were all thirstrappy. With so very little clothing, I got the impression that she’s used to doing sexy poses all day. Maybe she’s a model… and as it turns out – she’s a fashion model/singer.
I leave it to Kee to explains it all:
Hi. I’m Keeana Kee. New York based independent artist, singer, songwriter and fashion model. I call my music style an Exotic Pop because I love blending genres like Pop, Soul, Reggae, Reggaeton and Afrobeat.
I love creating music that empowers others to be their true selves, even if it goes against others’ expectations. I, myself, am an openly lesbian artist and a passionate and vocal member of the LGBTQ community.
And I truly believe that my music will make you want to dance and fall in love with the lyrics that take songs from day to night, beach to a club, and can bring summer to every season. 🥰🌴 Available on all music platforms.
I’m sending you all my LOVE.
Prettier by Grace VanderWaal (Jan 30, 2026)
Grace VanderWaal
Holy cow, Grace VanderWaal is all grown up. She’s back with “Prettier”, released in January 2026, and she’s an adult. That’s the impression I get looking at the cover artwork.
Grace Vanderwaal
It’s hard to believe that we’ve watched her grow up before our eyes. We first saw her when she was 13, writing: “The youngest star of the evening, thirteen-year-old Grace Vanderwaal next took to the stage for a short three-song set. The winner of last year’s America Got Talent competition seemed very humbled and appreciative to be invited and opened with ‘Clay’ from her Perfectly Imperfect EP (Columbia Records). “Music is the universal language, it connects to everyone in some way” she said before ‘Light the Sky’ and ended with picking up the ukulele for her first single, ‘Moonlight’.”
Grace VanderWaal, talks about her new song, which was co-written with Julia Michaels, Grant Boutin, and Mark Schick:
My new single Prettier is written about being seen but not heard in a relationship, and wanting something more.
