It’s Mono, so there!
Hello, this is Minh. I chose this group and song, because frankly Mono rocks! This song is called Slimcea Girl from their album Formica Blues. They’re a U.K. band with a French singer or so Vu says. Their other hit single “Life in Mono” has been featured on “The Great Expectations” soundtrack and maybe you may have heard it on those “Mood” series compilation cd’s on commercial. Enjoy and buy the album even if you’re not a trip hop fan. Listen to it in the car, while you’re on a roadtrip in the summer. Good stuff!
There’s a Japanese Mogwai-style band that also happens to be named Mono. After having referred to them as Mono for so long, I forgot that there’s also the english band. I really dig the song you put up, I’ll have to check out more from whence it came.
