Boyskout – Back to Bed
Ignore the Ladytron look, and get past the lesbian innuendos (erm, what innuendos?), you’ll realize that Boyskout are not half bad! Formed in San Francisco, California, in 2001, the band are currently in Brooklyn, New York. Although looking at their concert listings, they seem to still be touring the West Coast.
They recently released The Rare Sides which collects all the remixes and demos on a convenient CD for $15 (I am assuming this price also includes shipping and handling).
I had a hard time picking out a song from them, as I only have their first album to choose from. I’m going to go with “Back to Bed”, which has a pretty nice baseline. I also like the line, “Baby, come back to bed, you know you want to. Baby, come back to bed, I’ll make you feel so good.”
The following is the best I could do in compiling their discography. I’m almost certain I’m missing a few singles, please let me know if there are any errors:
