[2011] Near Infinite Possibility
Sarah Fimm is an singer/songwriter from Woodstock. Although she took her stage name from Seraphim, who serve God with their angelic voices, she’s not a Christian pop singer.

Based on what I’ve read about her career (which spans seven albums since 2001), her latest album, Near Infinite Possibility, is a shift in a different direction from her folky singer/songwriter songs.
Fimm had this to say about the idea of her “first rock” album.

“A lot of people just do a lot of the same. They try to keep it safe, and I’m not into that. I think, ‘Let it all go. Everything you were ever
attached to, ever, let it go. It means nothing. Do something new.
‘”

I haven’t heard her previous work, but I think her latest work, Near Infinite Possibility, is great for fans of adult alternative rock. Lots of epic guitar work on songs like “Flames” and “Terrified” gives it a prog rock element, but her rock vocals comes off as sounding like a tamer Joan Jett or Ann Wilson.

If you were interested in checking out more of Sarah Fimm’s work, you can legally get a lot of her music via the Karam Phala Music Project.
I’ve only started the free download, but it’s a collection of 31 music tracks, photographs, videos, and her personal messages. She’s a firm believer in getting her music out to the public and what a better medium than using technology.
She understands that sometime people don’t have access to high speed broadband, so she’s also willing to mail you a flash thumb drive if you send her your mailing address. Very kind of her.

Near Infinite Possibility is out now. You can pick it up at the usual places: CD Baby, Amazon, and iTunes.
