Florida’s flipturn is returning to the area, playing their largest venue yet, at First Avenue, on March 24, 2024.

We caught Flipturn in October 2022 and wrote, “Flipturn’s been enjoying selling out multiple shows on their current headlining tour. The reasons that singer recounted was, “People just discovered us on their own. They’d hear about our shows, they’d check us out, and they’d keep coming back. Our live show is the reason we’ve been able to grow.””

Charlotte Sands is currently on tour in support of her debut album can we start over?. Sands’ tour will stop in at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall, in St Paul, on March 25, 2024.

The pop star was nominated for Breakthrough Artist and winning at London’s Heavy Music Awards and have already performed with My Chemical Romance and 5 Seconds of Summer.

Senses (12 Mar 2023)

Senses to open. We caught them in March 2023 and wrote, “Next up was Los Angeles trio Senses, featuring singer/guitarist Madison Taylor, guitarist Josh Bissell and drummer Nick Sampson. They played hard rock/alternative, emotional punk, as evident by their Fall Out Boy cover of “Sugar, We’re Goin Down”. Right before playing their single “Sleepwalking”, Josh goofed and thanked “Milwaukee”. Madison quickly corrected him (seeing as she’s wearing a Prince T-Shirt), “Minneapolis! Josh is buying drinks for everyone!””

Brooklyn-based band San Fermin is on tour in support of their fifth studio album Arms via their rising independent label Better Company Records. The tour will stop in at the Turf Club in St Paul, March 26, 2024.

San Fermin (14 Apr 2017)

We saw the band in Apr 2017 and wrote, “In stark contrast, San Fermin’s performance was bright and full of brilliant colors. They have stepped up their game, especially since we saw them in 2014 and 2016 and very little effort was put in stage production. With the Belong tour, San Fermin had custom background and custom color-changing lights… making their show, at least visually, very appealing.”
