Knocked Loose at Fillmore, Minneapolis (22 May 2024)

Kentucky’s metalcore band Knocked Loose headlined the Fillmore, in Minneapolis, on May 22, 2024. The band is currently signed to Pure Noise Records and recently released their new album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To.



Opening the show was Australian five-piece hardcore punk band, Speed, opened the show, touring in support of their debut album Only One Mode (due out July 12).



Liverpool’s Loathe was up next, starting their set with “Gored.” They had burned some incense, which brought out a dramatic intro. The place was filling up with smoke from the lit incense. It really brought out a dramatic, but soothing effect for the first couple of songs (“Dance on My Skin”, “Screaming”).


Vocalist Kadeem France would later join the headliner, Knocked Loose, for their song “Billy No Mates”.



The crowd was a bit quiet at the start of Show me the Body’s set… but once they played “Loose Talk” (the fifth song), the crowd was engaged. They also proudly hung up a Palestinian flag on their set. People cheered when he mentioned it.

Knocked Loose (03 May 2024)

Knocked Loose previously played Lawrence, in Kansas, in May 2024 and wrote, “After a set change and lights dimming to expose a lit cross, similar to their new album cover, Knocked Loose emerged onto a dark stage amid crowd shrieks and droning walk-on music. Singer Brian Garris entered, and the entire place exploded like a bomb, beginning their seventy-five-minute set with the lead single from the upcoming record, “Blinding Faith”. Bodies and heavy guitar riffs were flying in the air with following song, 2019’s “Mistakes Like Fractures” with the band providing the ideal soundtrack for venting and releasing any pent-up anger or emotions. Garris possessively stalks the stage with a confidence of knowing the band has become as big as they are, and also asks the audience to give as much of themselves as the band does during the show, a request that’s already a given for the growing census of diehard fans.”

For the Minneapolis show, everyone in the audience began crowd surfing before they got on stage. By the time Knocked Loose came on stage and played “Blinding Faith”, the crowd got even crazier. The energy in the room was intense.
