The Killers
at Palace Theatre

Wells Fargo Credit Cards presents The Killers at the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on June 26, 2025. This show is exclusively for Wells Fargo card holders.

The Wells Fargo concert series was launched in November 2023 with an exclusive Mumford & Sons concert in Los Angeles, and has since featured concerts by Dave Matthews, Lionel Richie, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Brandi Carlile, and Maluma.

We previously saw The Killers’ singer Brandon Flowers in Sep 2015 and said, “Sometime singers release solo albums because of ego or control … but based on hearing Flowers’ brand of music (accompanied by a full backing back, a horns section, and two dedicated backup soul singer), I can tell you that he needed to release his music under his own name, because these uplifting songs did not seem to belong on a typical Killers album… Although the second half of his set consisted of plenty of The Killers songs, which kept the fans very happy, clapping, and singing along. My favorite moment of his set was for the brand new intro song, “Come Out With Me”, which Flowers personalized to Minneapolis by adding “Stone Arch Bridge”, “Saint Paul” and “Mill City Nights” to the song.”

OMD
with Walt Disco
at First Avenue

Legendary pop duo Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, or better known as OMD, will be headlining First Avenue on June 26, 2025. Most fans will recognize their signature song, “If You Leave”, which was used in Pretty in Pink.

OMD at the Fillmore (May 7, 2022)

We previously saw the band at the Fillmore in May 2022 and said, “Of course, the band saved their biggest hit song(s) until the encore, starting with “If You Leave.” They joked that they weren’t going to play it at first. “We already played that one for John Hughes,” they said. They are referring to Hughes’ film Pretty In Pink, which required a different song at the end of the film. Hughes asked the band to write a new song, and, with just two days before OMD were to begin their tour, they quickly wrote and recorded, “If You Leave” for Hughes. As history would have it, the song was a hit, and it became one of OMD’s signature songs. Next, they played “Secrets”, which was a big hit for them. They said they actually had to pull this single, so they could promote another song.”

Walt Disco to open.

at Fillmore Minneapolis

livenation.com

World-renowned singer-songwriter, BANKS (Jillian Rose Banks) is coming to the Fillmore, in Minneapolis, in support of her fifth studio album Off With Her Head (ADA Worldwide).

We’re big fans, having seen Banks a few times, including her first headlining show at First Ave in Oct 2014: ““We love you Minneapolis, we never want to leave you” she remarked before the one song encore of ‘Stick’, which was inspired by “the sexiness of Abel”, referring to The Weeknd’s Abel Tesfaye. BANKS has mentioned of her music, “I sing about falling in love, I sing about anger, I sing about fear, I sing about feeling sexy, I sing about confidence, and also about feeling completely insecure. I sing about every single thing, and every single thing makes me human and makes me beautiful… and a goddess”. Point proven.”
