After a fractured shoulder postponed her initial August date at the Xcel Energy Center, the “priestess of rock n’ roll” and “white witch” legendary singer of Fleetwood Mac and esteemed solo artist, Stevie Nicks returned to The Twin Cities, to play the same venue as previously announced, now under a different name – the Grand Casino Arena in downtown St. Paul.

The night was full of classic hits and a few stories (including the first time she met Tom Petty, entering the studio for their famed duet, and also served as a tribute to passed away friends such as Petty, Fleetwood Mac band mate Christine McVie, and Prince was even shown on a large screen montage.

In addition to old solo and Mac favorites, Nicks has been playing her newest single, “The Lighthouse” composed and released last year, in support of women’s rights.

Minnesota native and rising singer-songwriter Anna Graves opened the evening, with a similar set to when we saw her in support of The Head and the Heart earlier this year in KC, and her MN-leaning set, obviously was well-received by the anticipating audience.
