Beloved husband-and-wife duo Drew & Ellie Holcomb returned to the Florida Theatre, in Jacksonville, on February 11, 2026. Unlike last year’s Jacksonville appearance in Feb 2025, the couple wrangled their old band The Neighbors for this 2026 tour.
The show is broken into two parts (no opening band). The first part features just Drew & Ellie, very low-key, sitting down with a couple of acoustic guitars. The two traded songs, with Drew doing one of his songs, followed by one of Ellie’s song. Ellie would “cover” one of Drew’s song, etc.
The first part of the show felt very personal. They two talk about going to the Jacksonville Zoo. They took their kids with them on tour, so sometimes you can see their son or daughter running around the venue (with the nanny chasing them).
After Ellie’s “Who Sang the First Song?”, Drew attempted to throw a tour T-Shirt to one of their fans, something that was discussed earlier. The first throw attempt went south, it was so embarrassing, that Drew had to basically got close and toss it to the fan.
They ended their first set with “Dance with Everybody”, which got a few people standing up and dancing. They left the stage and after a 30 minute intermission, the couple returned with a full band, the Neighbors.
The second part of the show felt more focused and planned out. It did remind me of seeing Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors in Sep 2023, where I mentioned they covered Adele’s “When We Were Young”. Incidentally, we find out that Drew wakes up to Adele’s “Hello” song. As soon as the first note is sung, Drew is instantly awake.
An interesting thing to note was that the audience had ton of children in the audience. This may have to do with Drew & Ellie’s family value or that Ellie expanded into writing children books (Don’t Forget to Remember) and tapping into that family audience. Still, it was a good fun time for everyone in the audience, especially the children – some being their first concert ever.
