Shakey Graves is back on tour, in support of his new album Fondness, Etc.. The tour wills top by First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on October 26, 2026.

We saw Shakey Graves in Nov 2015 and said, “Shakey Graves was the headliner, he is listed as a young Americana musician from Texas. I don’t even know if you could call him Americana. His music was such a mix of everything from blues to rock to country. It was fresh and refreshing and the crowd really enjoyed it. Trampled by Turtles is a big fan of Shakey Graves, having had him opened up for the band on numerous occasions and was a special guest at this year’s Festival Palomino. With over 20 million Spotify streams, top five tracks on radio’s AA format and various TV appearances (Conan, Late Show With David Letterman, and Late Night with Seth Meyers), it’s easy to see why Shakey Graves is one of the hottest Americana acts right now.”

The Dresden Dolls at Palace Theatre (Oct 27, 2026)
Can you believe it? The Dresden Dolls is back! They’re on their Yes, Virginia (Tailor’s Version), playing the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on October 27, 2026.

We wrote about the Dresden Dolls back in 2007, describing them as a Boston duo of Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione. Palmer would eventually create Evelyn Evelyn (with Jason Webley), and eventually just started doing her own headlining solo tour: “Amanda Palmer started her set with “Smile (Pictures or It Didn’t Happen)”, followed by her single, “The Killing Type.”As you would expect, the rest of the songs performed live were from Theatre is Evil, including “Want It Back”, “Bottomfeeder”, “Berlin”, and “Olly Olly Oxen Free.” About midway into her set, Amanda Palmer read notes from her box. I didn’t catch why/what it was for, but I’m going to call it “bummer notes.” The notes were from anonymous audience members who wrote very depressing and dark things that happened to them. It probably wasn’t very long, but it felt like an eternity as Palmer read each and every note, with the next more depressing than the last. One uncomfortable audience member shouted out, “Are you trying to get us to commit suicide?” I’m not going to lie: it got dark. The sad tone, at least to me, shouldn’t be part of this upbeat “rock” show.”

All Them Witches is doing their Rocktober “21 Shows in 21 Days” in October, touring in support of House of Mirrors (BMG). The group will play First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on October 27, 2026.

All Them Witches at Turf Club, St Paul (19 December 2015)
We saw All Them Witches in Dec 2015 and wrote, “All Them Witches was the headliner Saturday night at The Turf Club and completely blew me away. They are a rock, blues, Americana, psychedelic (Let’s be honest, there’s no way to categorize them) four-piece group from Nashville, TN. I was completely captivated by Allan Van Cleave’s amazing piano skills. It was nice to see a band where, even though the piano parts weren’t the biggest part of the songs, you could still hear every note and truly appreciate Allan’s talent. Robby Staebler was a complete beast on the drum set. Even though the music seemed a bit ambient at times, Robby was pounding the crap out of those drums but didn’t let it become too overwhelming. He was the first drummer I’ve ever who turned the snares off on his snare drum during quiet parts of songs or when he wasn’t playing. That doesn’t sound like anything special but it truly added to the amazing musicianship throughout the set.”
