We♥KC! November 1-5, 2026, Upcoming concerts / shows (Kansas City, MO / Lawrence, KS metro)
Bots win!
We told you last time about Garth Brooks trying to add a third and matinee show for Saturday afternoon at T-Mobile Center, but there was a noticeable uptick in automated activity, forcing sales to stop. Eventually, the show was canceled- thanks, robo-scalpers!
Look for a mini-Sphere to start construction near Washington DC, soon. This one only plans to hold about 6000 (versus the full Vegas version which holds 20,000) so will be more intimate and have the same giganto-dome graphics and visuals of the original mothership. Might be a better experience in the end, and gives more reason to visit the Capitol area.
Aerosmith played its first of two guest-star filled return concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. Much like the Black Sabbath-Back to the Beginning show last year in Birmingham (where Steven Tyler looked and sounded good), most of the shows was in tribute, with the band coming together at the end for a six-song, 35 min performance. Final shows?- maybe…
Let’s look through the first Week of the month ahead in Kansas City / Lawrence KS metro musical happenings from November 1st to November 5th.
(official ticket hyperlinks are embedded in each show’s headline)
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1
MONDAY NOVEMBER 2
WHM favorites, the Minneapolis band she’s green describe themselves as “moss music”, inspired as much by Tolkien and Miyazaki as by Slowdive and the Cocteau Twins.
The dreamy five-piece is composed of vocalist Zofia Smith, guitarists Liam Armstrong and Raines Lucas, bassist Teddy Nordvold, and drummer Kevin Seebeck who aim to create their own musical world defined by dreamy fantasy, emotional openness, and sonic depth. Following their Chrysalis EP, they returned this year with their third EP, swallowtail, via Photo Finish Records.
Arrive early for Starling, a four-piece alternative band born and based in Los Angeles, creating music with a soft heaviness that moves from grunge to songwriter to shoegaze. Lead singer and guitarist Kasha Souter Willett started the project alone in 2023 and full-length, Forgive Me, arrived via Sunday Drive Records in 2025.
Starling’s new EP, Plexus (out now via broke Records) is another entirely self-made record, produced by the band and mixed by drummer Erik Sathrum Johnson. It was previewed across four singles over the course of the year.
