Madi Diaz at 7th Street Entry (October 27, 2025)

Madi Diaz transformed the tiny 7th Street Entry into a sanctuary of reflection, pairing songs from Fatal Optimist with humor and heart. Georgia’s Clover County opened with twang and charm, setting up a night of storytelling, shared hope, and quiet reinvention — proof that intimacy can still feel expansive.

Fifteen years in, Broncho is a compelling live act, bending time, memory, and pop-rock structures until you’re not sure what you’re hearing, only that it feels familiar. Sunflower Bean at 7th Street Entry, Minneapolis (June 17, 2025)

Flashback: The Pipettes at 7th Street Entry (08 June 2007)

You know I have a thing for British bands, so I was all over The Pipettes when they first appeared on my radar in 2006. They were just so different at the time, singing old girl-pop and doo-wop sound from the 60s. They were three girls, and they were perfect. My favorite is, of course, Rosay. She would later go on to try a solo act as Rose Elinor Dougall.
