Black Moth Super Rainbow have been at it for nearly a decade, and are bringing their unique brand of experimental psychedelic electronica back to Minneapolis this upcoming Monday, May 13 at the Fine Line Music Cafe.
Known for their cryptic stage presence, light shows and the use of image projection, we're all in for a treat on Monday. Their most recent release, Cobra Juicy, was funded solely through crowd-sourcing via Kickstarter. They raised nearly three times more than they initially requested, which speaks volumes to the quality their fans knew they could output. The collection of songs are their most accessible yet, but don't be fooled by that claim, as they constantly shift gears and take you on a weird ride.
Be sure to get there early and catch both opening acts, Oscillator Bug and The Hood Internet. The Hood Internet released an awesome album mid-2012 that is definitely worth your attention.

Impersonator is the upcoming album (out May 21st on Matador Records) by Majical Cloudz. This duo (Devon Welsh and Matthew Otto) is currently on the road with Youth Lagoon for their Spring tour. They are stopping in at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis on May 17th, next Friday.
